Thomson Towboats have successfully completed contracts for the following customers to name a few.

2018 – Transport of approximately 1600 tonnes of concrete breakwater blocks and assorted equipment from Chatham Islands to Pitt Island

Supply of Towage and workboat services to the Royal New Zealand Navy – on-going.

2016 – 2017 – Towage of builk rock barges between Whangarei and Auckland. Approx 60,000 tonnes over 58 voyages.

2014 – 2016 – Towage of Split Hopper barge disposing of dredge material at sea from Sandspit Marina construction. Approx 70,000 cubic metres over 128 voyages.

December 2013 – Tow of Tug and two Barges from Whangarei NZ to Noumea New Caledonia.

August 2012 – Tow of purse seiner Ocean Breeze from Tauranga to Lyttelton.

2012 – Escort of damaged Race Yacht Beau Geste from Norfolk Island to New Zealand.

2012 – Towage of 2 x 46m Hopper Barges from Auckland to Avatiu, Raratonga for dredging project.

2011/2012 – Towing of damaged Tug and Barge from New Caledonia to Whangarei for repair and return.

2011 – Towage of 4 new build Nickel Hopper Barges from Whangarei to New Caledonia.

2010 – Eleven Tanks moved by Barge ex Pacific Terminals to Tauranga, Napier & New Plymouth.

2010 – House move Mahurangi heads to Warkworth.

2010 – Launching of Superyacht ‘Kokomo’ Alloy Yachts Auckland

2009 – Towage for Napier Dredging Project.

2009 – Towage for Rosedale Sewer outfall construction, Mairangi Bay, Auckland.

2008 – Towage of 2000 DWT bulk cement barge between Whangarei & Auckland.

2007 – Tandem Tow of 2x 1500 DWT Hopper Barges New Plymouth to Tauranga.

2007 – Ports of Auckland channel dredging project.

2007 – HMNZS Canterbury 113m leander class Frigate Auckland to Opua.

2007 – Bow Thruster Repairs.

2007 – Tow of Yacht ‘Lightspeed’ from Sea near Norfolk Island to Auckland.

2007 – Ex RNZN Refit Barge Auckland to Tauranga.
